Welcome to our class webpage!

I am Miss Aucock, Severn Class' teacher, and I'm so excited about having a fantastic year ahead with my class of 30 wonderful children and my two amazing Teaching Assistants, Mrs Belcher and Mrs Hodge.

Here is some important information to help you stay updated:

Swimming: Every Monday, we'll be making a splash in our swimming lessons.

PE: Get ready to move on Tuesdays during our Physical Education sessions (please come to school in your PE kit)

Friday Fun: Fridays are packed with activities! We will practice and test our spellings and times tables, and enjoy a cosy reading session during ERIC (Everybody Reading In Class) where children can bring a blanket, cushion, teddy, torch and a book. 

This Half Term’s Learning Focus:

Geography: We will dive deep into learning about the oceans and their importance.

Computing: We'll explore databases and how they help us organise and find information.

Science: In Year 5: Our scientific enquiry will cover the properties and changes of materials,

                   In Year 4: Explore the fascinating world of sound.
