We have 11 Year One children and 12 Reception children!

Our teachers are Mrs Johnson (Monday-Wednesday) and Mrs Butcher (Thursday-Friday).

We have two lovely teaching assistants; Mrs Roden and Mrs Hackling.

We have PE lessons on Tuesday afternoons.

 

This Half Term’s Learning Focus:

In Avon class, we have a theme for the term in which we plan our books in Drawing club and base our provision around.

This half term we are focussing on plants and minibeasts !

 

History

In History this half term, we are learning all about explorers from the past. We are developing our understanding similarities and differences and how the discoveries has changed our world. 

Science

In Science, year 1 children are exploring plants - focussing on sorting and identifying different plants. 

 

We are looking forward to a fun and successful half term!
