Wednesday 1st April

Good morning,

At the end of this week we should have been having our annual Easter service, Easter bonnet parade and Easter egg hunt at school.

Mrs Blackbrough was concerned that we’d be missing the Easter festivities and has suggested that we hold our own 'virtual Easter bonnet parade'.

If you want to join the parade - make an Easter bonnet using anything you have in your house; be creative and do your best with what you have. Send a photograph of yourself wearing it, to me at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

If you’d like your teacher to see your photograph Cc them into the email, but make me the principal recipient. This will make it easier for me to track entries.

I will make a special gallery on our website of all entries. Please indicate if you do not wish your child to feature on the website.

For every photograph received by 3pm on Wednesday 8th April a small prize will be delivered to your door. We will also award a 'Best in year group' prize.

Yesterday I received an email from the Red Cross, I attach a link to their website. They have some activities relating to practicing kindness that you can get involved in. There is a list of ways to be kind and a kindness calendar.

Here’s the quote again from Monday,

“…So then, you must clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience”.

Have a good day.
