Welcome to our class webpage!

We are thrilled to start an exciting year with our class of 28 fantastic children, supported by our two wonderful Teaching Assistants.   Here is some key information to keep you informed about our weekly activities and learning focus for this term:

Swimming: Every Monday, we'll be making a splash in our swimming lessons.

PE: Get ready to move on Wednesdays during our Physical Education sessions (please come to school in your PE kit)

Wednesdays: We are lucky enough to have RE with Mrs Butcher and French with Mrs Hodge. We are also improving our times table knowledge in our times table tests. Who will make it to number club?

Friday Fun: Fridays are packed with activities! We will practice and test our spellings  after celebrating our achievements in our special golden apple assembly. 

This Half Term’s Learning Focus:

History: We’ll embark on an exciting exploration of the Vikings and Anglo-Saxons, uncovering their battles, beliefs, and the impact they had on Britain’s history.

Science:
Year 3: We’ll dive into the fascinating world of Light and Shadow, where we'll explore how shadows are created and move during the day and also investigate how to keep safe in the sun.
Year 4: Our investigation will focus on States of Matter, where we’ll explore the properties of solids, liquids, and gases and observe how materials change state.
